You're in luck. The "meta" for The Hunt for Revelation is well-established now that the event has been live for a week.
Here is the efficiency guide for farming Irregular Tomestones of Revelation next week.
🏆 The Efficiency Tier List
1. The Absolute Fastest (Requires a Group)
* Duty: The Aurum Vale (Level 47 Dungeon)
* Method: Blue Mage (BLU) Speedrun
* Time per run: ~4–5 minutes
* Tomestones: 4 per run
* Why: A party of 4 Blue Mages can destroy this dungeon using Ram's Voice (freeze), Ultravibration (instant kill), and Missile (boss HP cut).
* How to do it: Open Party Finder and look for "BLU Aurum Vale Farm." If you don't have Blue Mage leveled, this is significantly slower.
2. The "Chill" Solo Meta (Best for Multitasking)
* Activity: Gold Saucer GATEs + Ocean Fishing
* Time: Variable
* Tomestones:
* GATEs: 10–20 Tomestones (every 20 minutes: xx:00, xx:20, xx:40)
* Ocean Fishing: 50 Tomestones (every 2 hours) if you hit a high score (usually just catching anything is enough for base rewards).
* Why: This is the best method if you want to watch Netflix/YouTube on a second monitor. It breaks up the monotony of dungeon grinding.
3. The PvP Route (Good XP + Mounts)
* Duty: Rival Wings (Hidden Gorge)
* Time per match: ~10–15 minutes
* Tomestones: 6–10 (depending on win/loss)
* Why: This mode is normally dead, but the event revives it. It's fast, chaotic, and you earn Wolf Marks + Series EXP at the same time.
📝 Don't Forget the "Mogpendium"
Open your Mogpendium (Item in your inventory or via Collection menu) to check these high-yield bonuses:
* Weekly Objective (Once per week): Usually rewards 20 Tomestones for running a specific dungeon once.
* Minimog Challenge (Once per week): Complete one of two tasks (e.g., capture a FATE, catch a fish) for 10 Tomestones.
* Ultimog Challenge (Once per event): A massive 50 Tomestones for a bigger task (usually Ocean Fishing scoring or a specific clear).
My Recommendation for Next Week:
If you want to get it done fast: Join a BLU Party Finder group for Aurum Vale.
If you want to relax: Park your character in the Gold Saucer and do GATEs every 20 minutes while you do other things.
Next Step: Do you need a quick "Blue Mage Spell Set" list for the Aurum Vale run, or are you planning to stick to the Gold Saucer?
Here it is-
More
Here is the Optimized Blue Mage Spell Set for the Aurum Vale speedrun.
This setup is designed to clear the dungeon in under 5 minutes. You can do this efficiently with a group of 4 Blue Mages, or solo if you are skilled (using Basic Instinct).
The "Aurum Vale" Speedrun Loadout
1. The Trash Mob Clearing (The "Freeze & Kill" Combo)
You need these to instantly delete packs of enemies between bosses.
* #33 The Ram's Voice: Freezes all nearby enemies (Deep Freeze).
* #92 Ultravibration: Instantly kills any enemy suffering from Deep Freeze. (Recast: 120s).
* #97 Hydro Pull: Pulls all enemies to you (makes freezing them easier).
2. The Boss Melters (Boss 1 & 2)
The first two bosses in Aurum Vale (Locksmith and Coincounter) are not immune to "Death" mechanics or HP cuts.
* #35 Missile: Cuts enemy HP by 50%. Spam this until the boss is at 1% HP, then finish with any attack.
* #39 Moon Flute: (Optional here) Increases damage if you want to finish them faster.
3. The Final Boss Finisher (The "Sting" Combo)
The final boss (Miser's Mistress) has too much HP for just Missiles. You will execute the "Suicide Combo" to one-shot it from ~50-80% HP.
* #64 Whistle: Increases potency of next physical attack by 80%.
* #39 Moon Flute: Increases damage dealt by 50% (15s duration).
* #12 Bristle: Increases potency of next spell by 50%.
* #8 Final Sting: The payload. Base potency is 2,000, but with buffs, it hits for millions.
4. Essential Utility
* #77 Aetherial Mimicry: Set to DPS (for more damage) or Tank (if you are the one pulling).
* #91 Basic Instinct: (REQUIRED IF SOLO ONLY). Increases damage/healing by 100% and ignores "Mighty Guard" damage penalty.
* Sprint: (Role Action) Keep this on cooldown.
⚔️ How to Execute the Run
* Trash Packs: Sprint into a pack of mobs → Hydro Pull (group them) → Ram's Voice (Freeze) → Ultravibration (Instant Kill). Note: If Ultravibration is on cooldown, use Ram's Voice + launcher spells.
* Boss 1 & 2: Spam Missile. If it lands twice, the boss is dead.
* Final Boss (Miser's Mistress):
* Lower boss HP to about 70-80% using Primal spells (Nightbloom, Surpanakha, etc.).
* The Combo: Whistle → Moon Flute → Swiftcast → Final Sting.
* Result: Boss dies instantly. You die too, but the dungeon clears.
✅ Bonus: Your "Minimog" Objective for This Week
Since "The Hunt for Revelation" is in Week 2 (Nov 25), your specific weekly challenge to get easy Tomestones is likely one of these two:
* PvP: Complete 1 match of Crystalline Conflict.
* Triple Triad: Win a match against Wawalago Momolago (Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, X:8.1, Y:15.2).
Good luck!
