Based on the current timeline for November 2025, here are the latest updates and upcoming content details for Final Fantasy XIV. We are currently in the late stages of the Patch 7.3 cycle, gearing up for the next major release.

​Major Update: Patch 7.4 "Into the Mist" (Estimated Dec 2025 / Jan 2026)

The next major update, Patch 7.4, is expected to arrive late this year or very early in 2026. This patch will likely introduce the final tier of the Arcadion raid series and continue the post-Dawntrail Main Scenario questline.  

​Release Window: Late December 2025 or January 2026.

Key Content Expectations:

​New Raid Tier: The third and final chapter of the Arcadion raid series (Heavyweight Tier).

​MSQ Continuation: Deepening the conflict established in 7.3.

​New Trial: Likely an Extreme version of a key story boss.

​

Job Adjustments: Standard potency tweaks expected for underperforming jobs before the new raid tier.

​Imminent News: Letter from the Producer LIVE (Dec 5)

​Mark your calendar for Friday, December 5, 2025. Director Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P) will be hosting "Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XC (90)."

What to expect: This broadcast will almost certainly reveal the official release date for Patch 7.4, show the launch trailer, and provide a live gameplay demonstration of the new raid tier.

​If you are logging in this week, here is what is active:

​1. Patch 7.38 (Released Nov 10)

This minor patch made significant changes for raiders catching up on gear:  

​Savage Unlocked: The weekly loot restrictions for the Arcadion: Cruiserweight Tier (Savage) have been removed. You can now farm these fights for gear as much as you like.  

​Tomestone Cap: The weekly cap for Allagan Tomestones of Heliometry (the current capped tome) remains at 450, but catch-up gearing is easier with the raid unlock.

2. Moogle Treasure Trove: "The Hunt for Revelation"  

​Status: Active (Started Nov 18, 2025).

​Duration: Runs until the launch of Patch 7.4.

​Goal: Earn "Irregular Tomestones of Revelation" by running specific dungeons, raids, and PvP content.  

​Top Rewards: Look for the new custom framer's kits and the returning rare mounts (check the Itinerant Moogle in major cities).

Mobile Spinoff Update

​For those following the mobile ecosystem, Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World (the mobile spinoff) released its v2.2.0 update on November 20, 2025, adding new "Battle Pass" seasons. (Note: This is separate from the main PC/Console client).
